Seven things, then it's all clicking
The campaigns are easy. The setup around them is the work.
A traffic campaign sends people to your profile. An engagement campaign buys comments on a reel. Neither one does anything unless the reel asks for a comment, there's a gem behind the word, and ManyChat is there to hand it over. Get these seven in place first.
Instagram profile visits · $7 a day
You can't force a follow. You can send them to the door.
The traffic campaign's only job is to put your profile in front of the right people, in the right countries, on Instagram only. Everything below is a click in Ads Manager. Tap a line for the why.
Tier 1 country list · build and paste
Three ways to run it. Just the US if that's where your people are. The Big Four if you want English-speaking only. All Tier 1 if you want the spending power, which is what I do. Tap a country to drop it. I don't see anyone from Japan, Singapore or South Korea, so those are the ones I'd cut first.
In Ads Manager: Locations → Add locations in bulk → paste → Location type: Countries → Match locations. Meta will match every line. If it adds extras you didn't paste, remove them by hand.
Comments on the reel · $7 a day
This is the one that makes "comment [WORD]" actually work.
Same countries, same Instagram-only placements. The difference is the conversion location: on your ad. You want the comment, because the comment is what fires ManyChat. There's no button on this ad on purpose.
Why Instagram only, again. I have no ManyChat on Facebook. If I pay for a Facebook comment I'll never answer it, and nobody gets the gem. Pay for the platform where the automation lives.
The routine, every time you post
Duplicate, change post, publish. Every reel goes in both.
You set the campaigns up once. After that, adding a new reel is a two-minute duplicate. The trap is a tiny checkbox Meta adds on every duplicate. Below the checklist is a tracker so you know which reel is in which campaign, because I lost track of mine on camera.
Reel tracker · which reel is where
| Reel | Keyword | TrafficTrf | EngageEng | WinnerWin |
|---|
Mark the winner when the results column tells you. Mine right now is the tourist reel, which is not the one I'd have guessed. That's the data doing its job.
Two automations, built once
The ad buys the comment. ManyChat hands over the gem.
One automation per keyword, plus one catch-all for the free gift. I duplicated my CONFESS automation into an ADS one, then built FREE GIFT so any future reel can use it. Both send to the free gift page and the audit link instead of into my community, because prices and doors change and I want these to run for a year without me touching them.
DM script builder · yours
Change the keyword and the gem and the whole script rewrites. Copy it, paste each bubble into the matching ManyChat block. The follow-ask stays. It's the reason the traffic campaign and the engagement campaign work as a pair.
More friction, not less
I stopped inviting people into Skool from the DM.
That sounds backwards for someone who runs a paid community. It isn't. I feel called to work with established entrepreneurs who already create content and already have momentum. So I'm qualifying them as early as I can: bio, then DM, then the free gift, then the audit. Every stage says the same thing: if you have this, this and this, book a call.
01 · Evergreen
Prices change. Doors open and close. Offers get retired. An automation that says "join my community at $33" breaks the day any of that moves. One that hands over a free gift and a booking link runs for a year without you touching it.
- Nothing in the DM has a price or a date in it
- The free gift page is the thing I update, not twelve automations
- The next step is bookable by people who have never been in your community
02 · Friction
Every stage names who it's for. Established platform, proven client results, already creating. If that's not you yet, you still get all the free stuff. You just don't get invited to a call you'd feel behind on.
- Bio CTA: book your audit
- DM: "if you're an established creator with proven client results"
- Free gift: audit link top and bottom, the qualifier above it
03 · Trust
The free gift is every free training and guide I've ever made, on one page. Video trainings, cheat sheets, the 4 Stages of Ads, Human Design and astrology for business. Someone who works through even a third of it knows exactly how I think before they book.
- Thirty-plus gems, nothing gated
- The audit sells itself off the back of it
- Or it doesn't, and they got thirty free things. Fine.
Seven hundred followers back in thirty days on a brand-new account, and Instagram is still my number one signup source at 33% of new members. Every sales campaign is paused while I close the doors to the community. The only paid traffic running is these two campaigns at $7 a day each, plus Skool Growth Boost.
Traffic buys the follow. Engagement buys the comment. ManyChat asks for the follow again before it hands over the link. Two campaigns, one automation, and the audience compounds.
The number. $14 a day is $420 a month. I'm not telling you that's the flex. I'm telling you the mechanism is cheap enough that there's no reason not to run it, and it kept working on an account that had zero followers a month ago.
Four answers and you're ready to build
There's no one right way. There's your way and consistency.
You don't need my keyword, my countries or my budget. You need one reel that asks for a comment, one gem behind the word, and a decision about where the DM sends people. Fill these in and post your line under the video so I can hold you to it.
Four questions
Saved in this browser only. Copy your line and post it in the comments.
Your one-line commitment
Fill in the four questions and your commitment writes itself here.
Three doors
Build it this week. Then let it run.
If you're an expert with an established platform and you want the room that pays you to exist on repeat for what you already know, love and do, these are the ways in.
Comment ADS on the reel and my automation will send you the 4 Stages guide. Yes, the one you just watched me build.
